UNIFE is a Catholic private higher education institution which was created 58 years ago in Lima, Peru. Its general aim is to provide integral training for women. It was founded and sponsored by the Society of the Sacred Heart. (UNIFE Statute). Our campus brings to all international students the possibility to join us through exchange programs, external transfer, scholarship, internship, and research. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS |
• To be an undergraduate student in your institution.
• To rank in the top third of your class.
• To have more than the 50 percent of credits in your institution
• To be presented by your university.
• To have an international health insurance with a wide coverage.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Fill out the International Students Application Form UNIFÉ and submit the following documents:
• Letter Introduction of the student by the Home Institution.
• Copy of passport.
• Copy of international health insurance.
• Passport size photographs on white background (5x5 cm).
• Academic Record (transcripts)
• Certificate of Spanish level for non-speaking Spanish students.
• Mobility Academic Plan (filled out and signed).
• Motivational Letter (one page).
The International Relations Office of the Home University will send the documents to the Comisión Ejecutiva de Cooperación y Relaciones Internacionales – Academic Mobility of UNIFE, via e-mail to cecri@unife.edu.pe within the given deadlines.

ACADEMIC ASPECTS
• The Academic Semester at UNIFÉ is sixteen-week long (Art. 23° Academic Rules).
• The curriculum is flexible and consists of a set of compulsory and elective subjects, as well as student activities with their corresponding credits.
• One credit is equivalent to one weekly hour of theory or to one practice session of two hours.
• The number of hours per subject shall be determined according to the curriculum.
• The academic hour lasts fifty minutes.
EVALUATION SYSTEM
• The purpose of the evaluation is to assess the students’ academic performance in a permanent, comprehensive, systematic, objective, flexible, feedback and participative manner.
• Peru has a vigesimal evaluation system from 00 to 20. The minimum approving grade is 11.
IMMIGRATION AND VISA
A student’s visa is necessary to study in Peru. Apply for it in any Consulate or Embassy of Peru in your country.
